How do the Zoom courses work?
The online course will be presented in 3 separate modules in one day, all modules need to be completed in order to receive the certificate of attendance. If you are unable to attend all modules on one day you can attend separate modules on different days.  If there is enough demand I will deliver modules at different times of the day/evening for those who may find it difficult to attend at the stated times below.

Current module times for each event are:
Module 1: 9-11am
Module 2: 12-2pm
Module 3: 3-5pm

Module 1:
What are the different categories of emergency?
What is normal for your pet and how to recognise when something is wrong.
What is shock?
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation inc practical demonstration.
Near Drowning.

Module 2:
What to do if your pet is choking.
How to manage dog fights and injuries.
Heatstroke.
Seizures.
Wounds & Bleeds inc practical bandaging.

Module 3:
Intoxications.

What you can do to be prepared.

Length of the modules are approximate, they are fully interactive all the way and there is time at the end of each meeting for questions.  The modules need to be completed in numerical order.

Prior to the first aid course I will send you a pack to use alongside the course, this contains a first aid manual, basic bandage materials so we can all practice bandaging together during the course (using a soft toy provided by you) and background information on a wide variety of subjects discussed during the course.  These are posted out using Royal Mail and on occasion may not arrive in time, it just means you may need to provide your own bandage material for module 2, you do not need anything else in the pack to attend the course.

In addition to the certificate of attendance upon completion you will also receive a link to the nose to tail examination webinar.
